Bungalow Quilting

Bungalow Quilting - The Uptown in Any Town

Next Book Deadline

March 12, 2016 by Judy

I haven’t been blogging in a long time. The thing is, when you’re writing a book, you can’t blog about it because everything is in secret. You can’t plaster your creations over the internet, and so it may give the illusion that you aren’t working on anything new. Arrgh! Well, I have been working my tail off to meet my deadlines. I will have a second book turned in and then by this time next year there should be 12 or 13 new patterns to use with my Fast-2-Cut templates. These designs are really awesome. The last ones were wonderful too, but these are really amazing and you will find that you can’t wait to get to your scrap tubs. So, all of those fat quarters and scraps–keep them. Don’t sort through them just yet. By all means, sort through according to color, but don’t rid yourselves of them yet.

There are so many opinions on what to do with all of those scraps. I say, separate them into tubs according to color. Only when you are tired of revisiting them, and only then, do you need to get rid of them.

You loved them once, you will love them again. As soon as you get a hold of my Fast-2-Cut templates, you will zip through them in no time.

I’m not kidding. You will use them with a rotary cutter as if they were a cookie cutter. Cut the squares in those sizes and you’re ready to make any of the quilts in the book. Start cutting!
