Bungalow Quilting

Bungalow Quilting - The Uptown in Any Town

Quilting in the Garden, Livermore, California

September 15, 2016 by Judy

I’m so excited to be teaching in Livermore California next week. I’ve never been to that part of California. Actually, I’ve only been to California twice before in my life.

The shop will be well tended to by my excellent employees, so I am not worried at all to leave things behind.

The class that I am teaching is at a show that takes place in a garden center. I’m sure it must be beautiful. I’ve seen pictures from previous years. I’ll put the link here. //www.aldenlane.com/events/quilting-in-the-garden
This year they have decided to have classes done only by C&T authors. I will be teaching beside well known leaders in the quilt world such as Freddy Moran (I’ve always adored her!) and Jennifer Sampou (another of my favorites).
I am happy to say that my class was one of the first ones to sell out. I guess people are really needing to get rid of their scraps! I will be teaching the blocks from my book “Quilts for Scrap Lovers: 16 Projects Start with Simple Squares”. I made a sampler to go along with the class. Those taking the class can use the pattern for the sampler to put their class blocks together into a project. I am also going to post the picture and the directions here just in case someone else that has the book would like to make the sampler.
