So it’s been a minute since I posted anything on my website. I get so busy! I have been working on projects for Studio e for the booth at H&H. I can’t post those photos until after H&H so that everything will be fresh and new. The new lines coming out are soooo cute.
I decided that I am going to make one of these bubble dresses for every day of the week. It’s perfect for summer. Why wear shorts when you can wear something flattering like this? Well, I know. I am not going to go kayaking in a dress lol.
So here it is. I used the Kaffe Fassett Lawns by Freespirit Fabrics. Of course, the pattern didn’t require lining the bodice, but that’s what I did. I love to line things.
It comes in sizes XS-XL, and it’s so pretty. It takes about 3 1/2 yards for most sizes.

Here’s the side view.

So you can get away with wearing it as a dress or as a jumper. The pattern also has sleeves. I may try the sleeve version too. And….there’s pockets!
Go grab the pattern and 3 1/2 yards of fabric from Bungalowquilting.com. You will be glad you did.
