Bungalow Quilting - The Uptown in Any Town

Beginning Ruler Work with Nina Clotfelter

April 21, 2024 by Judy

Beginning RULER Work – .In this Beginner class you learn how to hold and work with RULERS on your domestic machine.    We start at the beginning with how to prepare the RULER and why this is important.  We work with a special RULER designed just for this class with 4 different shapes on it.  By the end of class each student has successfully managed the RULER as well as learned to think with a RULER and created a block using the RULER.  RULER Work is a GREAT way to enhance your Free Motion Quilting!  This opens up a whole new world to you as a quilter!!!
You MUST have a RULER foot from you sewing machine brand.  (Please do not buy a generic Ruler foot as they don’t always line up right.
Additional $50 kit fee includes: Class RULER, Drawing circle, Mechanical pencil, True Grips, Notebook, Needles book, Single hole needle plate trick
This class is meant for the beginner and up. If you have ever wanted to know how to use rulers for your own personal quilts on your domestic machine, Nina will break this down. She is also going to concentrate on beginning free motion work.
